Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA) followers went home satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad triumph over the visiting Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA), 3-1 in a league game.

Next up, the Trojans face the Hill Falcons (San Jose, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 11. Milpitas will attempt to advance on its 13-6 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 6-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Gilroy (Gilroy, CA).

The Matadors (18-10) will now prepare for their outing against Homestead (Cupertino, CA). The Mustangs come into the Santa Clara Valley - De Anza game with a 18-7 record. In their last game, Homestead gained a win over Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
