California High School Volleyball - Homestead over Milpitas

Fans at Monday's league contest between the Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) and the visiting Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA), observed Homestead's volleyball team top Milpitas by a count of 3-0.

The Mustangs (15-6) will now prepare for their battle against Soquel (Soquel, CA). The Knights go into the non-league battle with a 8-6 record.

The Trojans now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Palo Alto for a Santa Clara Valley - De Anza contest on Wednesday, October 1. Milpitas will meet a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league win over Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 11-6.
