October 1, 2022: Dunmore, PA 18512 The Susquehanna Sabers football squad scored 45 points and restricted the host Holy Cross Crusaders to 0 in the Sabers league victory on Saturday.
The Sabers now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Old Forge for a Lackawanna 4 battle on Saturday, October 8. Susquehanna will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 33-20 non-league win over Lackawanna Trail (Factoryville, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-3.
Coming up next, the Crusaders play the Carbondale Area Chargers (Carbondale, PA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 7. Holy Cross will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Chargers enter the battle with a 2-4 record after their 54-13 league loss to Riverside (Taylor, PA).
