In Saturday's league match, the visiting St. Thomas More Sabers football squad scored a big 40-0 victory over the Schlarman Hilltoppers.

In their next game, the Sabers clash with the Milford/Cissna Park Bearcats (Milford, IL) in a 8-Man Central 1 (8 Man) match, on Friday, October 7. St. Thomas More will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Bearcats enter the match with a 6-0 record after their 45-8 league win over Pawnee/Lincolnwood (Pawnee, IL).
