With the win, La Cueva upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Bears host West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-4. West Mesa lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM)
The Bulldawgs now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Mayfield for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 4. Las Cruces will play a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Trojans record now stands at 6-1.
