The La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) volleyball nudged the visiting Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

With the win, La Cueva upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Bears travel to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM) to play the Storm in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Cleveland lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM)

The Cougars now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Albuquerque for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 17. Cibola will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.
