Georgia High School Softball - Fannin County tipped by Model
October 1, 2025: Rome, GA 30161 Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA), 5-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Model improves its record to 14-4 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA) to battle the Rebels in a 1A D-I Region 6 match on Thursday, October 2. The Rebels come into the match with a record of 12-9. Haralson County won 4-0 in their recent league match against Temple (Temple, GA)
In their next game, the Rebels battle the Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 7 match, on Thursday, October 2. Fannin County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 1-22 record after their 24-2 league loss to Armuchee (Rome, GA).
