In Monday's non-league match, the host Model Blue Devils softball team scored a nice 16-1 victory over the Coosa Eagles.

The Blue Devils (16-4) will now prepare for their match against Chattooga (Summerville, GA). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 11-9 record. In their last match, Chattooga was routed by Cass (White, GA), 8-6, in a non-league match.

The Eagles now own a 3-18 record. They play next when they host Christian Heritage for a 1A D-I Region 7 game on Tuesday, October 7. Coosa will play a Lions squad coming off a 10-1 league loss to Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA). The Lions record now stands at 4-17.
