Spectators at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA) and the visiting Forsyth Central Bulldogs (Cumming, GA), saw Mountain View's softball squad nip Forsyth Central by a score of 6-4.

With the triumph, Mountain View improves its record to 9-17 on the year. The Bears travel to Dacula (Dacula, GA) to face the Falcons in a 6A Region 8 match on Thursday, October 2. The Falcons go into the match with a record of 17-11. Dacula won 6-2 in their recent league match against Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA)

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the West Forsyth Wolverines (Cumming, GA) in a 6A Region 6 match, on Tuesday, October 7. Forsyth Central will attempt to better on its 4-20 season record.
