Spectators at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA) and the host Norcross Blue Devils (Norcross, GA), saw Mountain View's softball squad nip Norcross by a score of 9-6.

With the triumph, Mountain View improves its record to 6-14 on the year. The Bears host Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA) to face the Eagles in a 6A Region 8 contest on Thursday, September 25. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 9-13. Collins Hill lost 13-1 in their recent league contest against Dacula (Dacula, GA)

The Blue Devils now hold a 6-18 record. They play next when they travel to Brookwood for a 6A Region 7 contest on Thursday, September 25. Norcross will clash with a Broncos team coming off a 14-5 non-league win over Archer (Lawrenceville, GA). The Broncos record now stands at 16-4.
