St. Francis Borgia Knights (Washington, MO) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Washington Bluejays (Washington, MO), 4-3 in a non-league match.

The Knights (11-4) will now prepare for their match against Union (Union, MO). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Union nipped Pacific (Pacific, MO), 6-5, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bluejays confront the Timberland T-Wolves (Wentzville, MO) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 2. Washington will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record.
