With the win, Florence improves its record to 13-9 on the season. The Gophers host Globe (Globe, AZ) to face the Tigers in a 3A - Central test on Monday, October 6. Next, the Mavericks meet the San Tan Charter Roadrunners (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 2. ALA - Mesa North will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Roadrunners come into the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Highland Prep West (Avondale, AZ).
