North Carolina High School Soccer - Freedom can't get by Alexander Central
October 10, 2022: Morganton, NC 28655 In Monday's league battle, the visiting Alexander Central Cougars soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Freedom Patriots.
The Cougars (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Huskies go into the Northwestern 3A/4A battle with a 8-6 record. In their last bout, Ashe County was nipped by Watauga (Boone, NC), 3-2, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a Northwestern 3A/4A bout, on Wednesday, October 12. Freedom will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 12-2 record after their 4-2 league win over South Caldwell (Hudson, NC).
