With the win, Guilford moves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to East Haven (East Haven, CT) to play the Yellowjackets in a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset game on Friday, October 13. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a record of 1-10. East Haven lost 8-0 in their recent non-league game against Sheehan (Wallingford, CT)
The Crusaders (2-8) will now prepare for their game against Shelton (Shelton, CT). The Gaels go into the Southern Connecticut - Housatonic game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Shelton was overwhelmed by Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT), 5-1, in a league game.
