Louisiana High School Volleyball - Academy of the Sacred Heart can't hold off Highland Baptist Christian
October 10, 2023: Grand Coteau, LA 70541 In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Highland Baptist Christian Bears volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Academy of the Sacred Heart Saints.
The Bears (13-8) will now prepare for their battle against Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA). The Crusaders come into the non-league battle with a 17-6 record. In their last battle, Westminster Academy nudged Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Saints clash with the Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns (Metairie, LA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 13. Academy of the Sacred Heart will attempt to advance on its 10-10 season record. The Cajuns come into the battle with a 16-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA).
