October 10, 2023: Gray, LA 70359 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Bourgeois Braves (Gray, LA) and the visiting East Jefferson Warriors (Metairie, LA), saw Bourgeois's volleyball squad beat East Jefferson by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Bourgeois upgrades its record to 13-15 on the year. The Braves travel to Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA) to play the Tigers in a Division I District 6 bout on Thursday, October 12. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 9-19. Thibodaux lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA)
The Warriors now own a 9-21 record. They play next when they host McDonogh 35 for a Division IV District 7 bout on Wednesday, October 11. East Jefferson will play a Roneagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Destrehan (Destrehan, LA). The Roneagles record now stands at 21-3.
