October 10, 2023: Tremont, IL 61568 The Tremont Turks volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Eureka Hornets to 0 in the Turks league victory on Tuesday.
The Turks now have a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Paso-Gridley for a Heart of Illinois game on Thursday, October 12. Tremont will meet a Titans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Delavan (Delavan, IL). The Titans record now stands at 22-4.
The Hornets (19-9) will now prepare for their game against Ridgeview (Colfax, IL). The Mustangs enter the Heart of Illinois game with a 6-21 record. In their last game, Ridgeview dropped by Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
