With the win, J.I. Burton betters its record to 7-5 on the year. The Black Raiders travel to Castlewood (Castlewood, VA) to face the Blue Devils in a Cumberland outing on Thursday, October 12. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a record of 8-6. Castlewood lost 3-2 in their recent league outing against Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA)
The Pioneers now sport a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Eastside for a Cumberland outing on Thursday, October 12. Thomas Walker will face a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 13-6.
