October 10, 2023: Erskine, MN 56535 The Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Win-E-Mac Patriots to 0 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Thunderbirds now possess a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fertile-Beltrami for a non-league game on Thursday, October 12. Mahnomen/Waubun will meet a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lake Park-Audubon (Lake Park, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 10-8.
The Patriots (1-14) will now prepare for their game against Park Christian (Moorhead, MN). The Falcons enter the Pine to Prairie game with a 11-5 record. In their last game, Park Christian was dropped by Ada-Borup (Ada, MN), 3-0, in a league game.
