Arizona High School Football - Cactus Shadows can't hold off Desert Mountain

Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Cactus Shadows Falcons (Cave Creek, AZ), 35-28 in a league battle.

With the win, Desert Mountain improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Wolves travel to Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ) to play the Huskies in a 5A Northeast Valley battle on Friday, October 18. The Huskies go into the battle with a record of 5-1. Horizon won 20-7 in their recent league battle against Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ)

The Falcons now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they host ALA - Gilbert North for a 5A Northeast Valley battle on Friday, October 18. Cactus Shadows will play a Eagles team coming off a 16-14 league win over Higley (Gilbert, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 5-1.
