October 10, 2024: Franklin Square, NY 11010 The Carey Seahawks football squad scored 39 points and limited the visiting MacArthur Generals to 0 in the Seahawks league triumph on Thursday.
The Seahawks now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a Section 8 Conference II test on Saturday, October 19. Carey will meet a Roughriders squad coming off a 21-7 league win over Baldwin (Baldwin, NY). The Roughriders record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, MacArthur drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Generals host Glen Cove (Glen Cove, NY) to meet the Big Red in a Section 8 Conference II test on Saturday, October 19. The Big Red come into the test with a record of 3-2. Glen Cove lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Roslyn/Friends Academy (Roslyn Heights, NY)
