New York High School Football - MacArthur tops New Hyde Park Memorial
September 20, 2024: Levittown, NY 11756 The MacArthur Generals football squad scored 36 points and limited the visiting New Hyde Park Memorial Gladiators to 28 in the Generals league triumph on Friday.
The Generals now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Roosevelt for a Section 8 Conference II test on Saturday, September 28. MacArthur will meet a Roughriders squad coming off a 28-6 league win over Sewanhaka (Floral Park, NY). The Roughriders record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, New Hyde Park Memorial drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Glen Cove (Glen Cove, NY) to meet the Big Red in a Section 8 Conference II test on Saturday, September 28. The Big Red come into the test with a record of 1-1. Glen Cove won 40-20 in their recent league test against Baldwin (Baldwin, NY)
