Illinois High School Football - Deerfield sneaks past Evanston
October 10, 2024: Evanston, IL 60201 The Deerfield Warriors football squad scored 21 points and limited the host Evanston Wildkits to 19 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.
The Warriors now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maine South for a Central Suburban - South test on Friday, October 18. Deerfield will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 31-28 league win over Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 4-3.
With the defeat, Evanston drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Wildkits travel to Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL) to meet the Spartans in a Central Suburban - South test on Friday, October 18. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 2-5. Glenbrook North lost 49-18 in their recent league test against New Trier (Winnetka, IL)
