McCluer Comets (Florissant, MO) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the host Parkway Central Colts (Chesterfield, MO), 18-12 in a league battle.

With the win, McCluer improves its record to 2-5 on the season. The Comets travel to Eureka (Eureka, MO) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Friday, October 18. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 7-0. Eureka won 30-15 in their recent non-league contest against Lafayette (Wildwood, MO)

Coming up next, the Colts confront the Northwest Lions (Cedar Hill, MO) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 17. Parkway Central will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 3-4 record after their 35-14 league win over Hazelwood West (Hazelwood, MO).
