October 4, 2024: Florissant, MO 63031 Lafayette Lancers (Wildwood, MO) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host McCluer Comets (Florissant, MO), 55-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Lafayette improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Lancers host Eureka (Eureka, MO) to play the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Friday, October 11. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 6-0. Eureka won 36-7 in their recent non-league battle against Rockwood Summit (Fenton, MO)
The Comets now have a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Parkway Central for a Freelance battle on Thursday, October 10. McCluer will play a Colts team coming off a 34-0 non-league loss to Ladue Horton Watkins (St. Louis, MO). The Colts record now stands at 0-6.
