Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), 27-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Palisades improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Pumas host Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC) to play the Wolves in a 4A South Meck battle on Friday, October 18. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 0-7. Ballantyne Ridge lost 13-6 in their recent league battle against Berry (Charlotte, NC)

The Trojans now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Myers Park for a 4A South Meck battle on Friday, October 18. Olympic will play a Mustangs team coming off a 27-24 league win over Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-4.
