North Carolina High School Football - Weddington wallops Porter Ridge

The Weddington Warriors football squad scored 49 points and limited the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates to 0 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sun Valley for a 4A Southern Carolina test on Friday, October 18. Weddington will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 14-13 league win over Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Porter Ridge drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC) to meet the Cavaliers in a 4A Southern Carolina test on Friday, October 18. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 5-2. Cuthbertson won 7-6 in their recent league test against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC)
