The Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) football knocked off the visiting Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC), 35-12 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Warriors now sport a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northern Guilford for a non-league outing on Friday, November 29. Weddington will clash with a Nighthawks squad coming off a 28-24 non-league win over Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Nighthawks record now stands at 11-1.

With the defeat, Sun Valley drops to 9-3 on the campaign.
