In Thursday's league match, the host Upper Moreland Bears football squad scored a close 28-27 triumph over the Wissahickon Trojans.

The Bears (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Plymouth Whitemarsh (Plymouth Meeting, PA). The Colonials come into the Suburban One - American match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Plymouth Whitemarsh tipped Springfield Township (Erdenheim, PA), 42-0, in a league match.
