Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the host Sutter Huskies (Sutter, CA), 25-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Rio Linda improves its record to 11-6 on the season. The Knights travel to Destiny Christian Academy (Sacramento, CA) to play the Lions in a Golden Empire League battle on Monday, October 14. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 9-7. Destiny Christian Academy won 12-7 in their recent league battle against Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA)

The Huskies now have a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Casa Roble for a Golden Empire League battle on Monday, October 14. Sutter will play a Rams team coming off a 12-7 league loss to Destiny Christian Academy (Sacramento, CA). The Rams record now stands at 3-9.
