In their next game, the Terriers play the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 17. William Byrd will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Cavaliers go into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 22-0 non-league win over Staunton River (Moneta, VA).
