The Brush Beetdiggers softball team scored 24 runs and held the host Weld Central Rebels to 9 in the Beetdiggers league win on Thursday.

The Beetdiggers now sport a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lamar for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 12. Brush will confront a Thunder team coming off a 6-1 league win over Rocky Ford (Rocky Ford, CO). The Thunder record now stands at 17-5.

With the loss, Weld Central moves to 8-15 on the season.
