October 10, 2024: Sheldon, IA 51201 Central Lyon Lions (Rock Rapids, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Central Lyon improves its record to 10-9 on the season. The Lions travel to Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley (Rock Valley, IA) to face the NIGHTHAWKS in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 15. The NIGHTHAWKS go into the test with a record of 10-10.
The Orabs now own a 10-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boyden-Hull for a test on Tuesday, October 15. Sheldon will face a Comets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD). The Comets record now stands at 10-9.
