Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Northern Highlands Highlanders (Allendale, NJ), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Hackensack improves its record to 12-6 on the season. The Comets travel to Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, NJ) to face the Crusaders in a non-league test on Friday, October 11. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 3-11. Elmwood Park lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against New Milford (New Milford, NJ)

The Highlanders now own a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Garfield for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 15.
