The Alcovy Tigers football team (Covington, GA), dropped 40-14 in Friday's league bout with the host Habersham Central Raiders (Mt. Airy, GA)

With the win, Habersham Central advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Raiders travel to Apalachee (Winder, GA) to encounter the Wildcats in a AAAAA Region 8 bout on Friday, October 24. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-6.

The Tigers now hold a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Apalachee for a AAAAA Region 8 contest on Friday, October 17. Alcovy will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 67-0 league loss to Jackson County (Jefferson, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-6.
