Texas High School Football - Arlington beat Sam Houston

October 10, 2025: Arlington, TX 76013

The Arlington Colts football squad scored 38 points and limited the visiting Sam Houston Texans to 16 in the Colts league triumph on Friday.

The Colts now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bowie for a 6A Region I District 8 test on Friday, October 17. Arlington will meet a Volunteers squad coming off a 56-43 league win over Martin (Arlington, TX). The Volunteers record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Sam Houston drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Texans host Lamar (Arlington, TX) to meet the Vikings in a 6A Region I District 8 test on Friday, October 17. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 2-4. Lamar lost 53-0 in their recent league challenge against South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX)
