Lafayette Central Catholic Knights (Lafayette, IN) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Benton Central Bison (Oxford, IN), 69-8 in a league battle.

With the win, Lafayette Central Catholic improves its record to 2-6 on the season. The Knights travel to Guerin Catholic (Noblesville, IN) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, October 17. The Golden Eagles go into the battle with a record of 4-4. Guerin Catholic won 35-21 in their recent non-league battle against Culver Academies (Culver, IN)

The Bison now have a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Tipton for a Hoosier - Small School match on Friday, October 17. Benton Central will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 26-13 non-league loss to Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-4.
