The Bishop Lynch Friars edged the host Legacy Christian Academy Eagles football team by a score of 21-14 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Friars face the Nolan Catholic Vikings (Fort Worth, TX) in a TAPPS Division I District 1 challenge, on Friday, October 17. Bishop Lynch will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Vikings come into the outing with a 1-5 record after their 48-7 league loss to Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX).

With the defeat, Legacy Christian Academy drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX) to clash with the Lions in a TAPPS Division I District 1 outing on Friday, October 17. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 2-3. Prestonwood Christian lost 38-24 in their recent league outing against Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX)
