In Friday's league game, the Marcus Marauders (Flower Mound, TX) football team beat the visiting Braswell Bengals (Little Elm, TX), by a final score of 42-21.

With the win, Marcus advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Marauders travel to Guyer (Denton, TX) to encounter the Wildcats in a 6A Region I District 5 bout on Thursday, October 16. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Guyer won 44-16 in their recent league bout against Hebron (Carrollton, TX)

The Bengals now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Flower Mound for a 6A Region I District 5 bout on Friday, October 17. Braswell will encounter a Jaguars team coming off a 49-7 league loss to Lewisville (Lewisville, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-4.
