The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Brentwood Academy Eagles (Brentwood, TN) and the host Briarcrest Christian Saints (Eads, TN), witnessed Brentwood Academy's football squad edge Briarcrest Christian by a count of 34-31.

The Eagles (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Father Ryan (Nashville, TN). The Irish enter the Division II-AAA West match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, Father Ryan was nudged by Montgomery Bell Academy (Nashville, TN), 42-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Saints confront the Lipscomb Academy Mustangs (Nashville, TN) in a Division II-AAA West match, on Friday, October 24. Briarcrest Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record.
