Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad smash the host Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC), 42-0 in a league match.

The Centurions (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Mountain View Prep (Spartanburg, SC). The Stars come into the AAA Region 3 match with a 7-0 record.

Coming up next, the Yellowjackets play the Chapman Panthers (Inman, SC) in a AAA Region 3 challenge, on Friday, October 17. Union County will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 50-7 league loss to Mountain View Prep (Spartanburg, SC).
