Spectators at Friday's league bout between the Chapman Panthers (Inman, SC) and the visiting Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC), saw Chapman's football team nip Union County by a final score of 30-27.

With the win, Chapman advances its record to 1-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to Woodruff (Woodruff, SC) to encounter the Wolverines in a AAA Region 3 bout on Friday, October 24. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Woodruff won 49-28 in their recent league bout against Mountain View Prep (Spartanburg, SC)

The Yellowjackets now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodruff for a AAA Region 3 contest on Friday, October 31.
