The Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE) football triumphed over the host Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades (Chambers, NE), 50-6 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Longhorns face the Twin Loup Wolves (Sargent, NE) in a D2 District 6 (8 Man) game, on Friday, October 17. Burwell will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Wolves enter the game with a 4-3 record after their 46-27 league loss to Anselmo-Merna (Merna, NE).
