California High School Football - Capistrano Valley wallops Cypress

October 10, 2025: Mission Viejo, CA 92692

The Capistrano Valley Cougars football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Cypress Centurions to 0 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Trabuco Hills for a Delta game on Friday, October 17. Capistrano Valley will face a Mustangs team coming off a 42-14 league loss to Tustin (Tustin, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-4.

The Centurions (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Western (Anaheim, CA). The Pioneers enter the Delta game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Western was ripped by El Modena (Orange, CA), 28-21, in a league game.
