California High School Football - Cypress can't hold off Western

October 17, 2025: Anaheim, CA 92804

The Western Pioneers got by the visiting Cypress Centurions football team by a score of 34-27 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Pioneers meet the Tustin Tillers (Tustin, CA) in a Delta test, on Thursday, October 23. Western will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Tillers come into the test with a 7-1 record after their 51-7 league win over El Modena (Orange, CA).

With the defeat, Cypress drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Centurions host Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA) to meet the Mustangs in a Delta test on Friday, October 24. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 3-5. Trabuco Hills lost 41-7 in their recent league test against Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, CA)
