The Central Hinds Academy Cougars football squad scored 41 points and limited the visiting West Memphis Christian Black Knights to 8 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tri-County Academy for a MAIS 3A District 2 test on Friday, October 17. Central Hinds Academy will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 48-6 non-league win over St. Joseph Catholic (Madison, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, West Memphis Christian drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Black knights travel to Marshall Academy (Holly Springs, MS) to clash with the Patriots in a MAIS 3A District 1 test on Friday, October 17. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 6-1. Marshall Academy won 58-28 in their recent non-league test against St. Joseph (Greenville, MS)
