The Clare Pioneers were victorious over the visiting Shepherd Bluejays football team by a score of 40-14 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Pioneers face the Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 24. Clare will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record.

The Bluejays (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Grayling (Grayling, MI). The Vikings enter the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record.
