The Shepherd Bluejays walloped the host Standish-Sterling Panthers football team by a score of 37-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Bluejays play the Ogemaw Heights Falcons (West Branch, MI) in a Jack Pine I challenge, on Friday, September 19. Shepherd will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Falcons go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 49-14 league win over Gladwin (Gladwin, MI).

The Panthers (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Bullock Creek (Midland, MI). The Lancers go into the Jack Pine I challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Bullock Creek was ripped by Clare (Clare, MI), 62-28, in a league challenge.
