Savannah Bluejackets (Savannah, GA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA), 19-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Savannah advances its record to 1-5 on the season. The Bluejackets travel to Screven County (Sylvania, GA) to confront the Gamecocks in a A D2 Region 3 match on Friday, October 17. The Gamecocks come into the match with a record of 7-0. Screven County won 27-7 in their recent league match against Metter (Metter, GA)

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Portal Panthers (Portal, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 match, on Friday, October 17. Claxton will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record.
