In Friday's league game, the Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA) football team triumphed over the visiting Savannah Bluejackets (Savannah, GA), by a tally of 40-6.

In their next game, the Gamecocks battle the Portal Panthers (Portal, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 bout, on Friday, October 24. Screven County will attempt to advance on its 8-0 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 35-12 league win over Claxton (Claxton, GA).
